A Father in okigwe chains his children,hit them with hammer and poured salt&pepper on their wound.

Reports have been received from Okigwe, Imo state of a man (name witheld) who chained his children used hammer to hit them,poured pepper on their wounds& made them sleep in shops.
A concerned woman who witnessed the evil act by the father of these children in Okigwe reached out to NHRC Nigeria as reported by @NhrcTweets on tweeter
"A concerned woman witnessed the dehumanising of these little children by their own father in Okigwe and reached out to @NhrcTweets & the DPO "

The perpetrator who has been arrested with the intervention of NHRC Nigeria stated that he was doing the evil act to the children to punish them for "What their mother did".
NHRC Nigeria stated that the children are now in safe hands and also encouraged victims or witnesses to human rights violation to reach out to them as they are ready to help.
