The Covid19 patients in Gombe Protests and closes border over very poor welfare in Isolation Center

Tested and confirmed cases of the deadly covid19 virus patients in Gombe state today protested over the negligence by the team assigned to them by the government in the state isolation center in Kwadon. The patients while protesting revealed that they where dumped in the isolation center without any proper care. According to some of the patients who spoke to TVC News Gombe revealed that they use their own money to buy foods and drugs for themselves, They also revealed that they stay for days in the center without seeing even a doctor to attend to them.

The patients angrily blocked the express way being the boarder between Gombe and Borno state and some other people who where not covid19 patients mingled and joined them in the protest with many believing that the covid19 virus cases were not real and was just being used to make money.
NCDC had reported that the total number of confirmed Covid19 cases in Nigeria as of 4th May 2020 was 2802 with 417 recoveries and 93 deaths
